*ver.dat - any file with a name which ends in ver.dat is a file
               of thermodynamic data formatted for perplex. the
               letters in the prefix give some indication of the 
               authors, the numbers give the year of the most recent
               revision. If you find errors in these files I would 
               be grateful if you tell me of them.

 *solut*.dat - solution model files as with the thermodynamic data files, 
               they are provided primarily as an example or template that
               you can use to make your own models. 

These files should be placed in the working directory where the Perple_X 
programs are executed.


UNIX/MAC users must convert these files from PC to UNIX/MAC format see
the UNIX README file.
